Our Mission

USWeatherHub is America's premier hyper-local weather intelligence platform, dedicated to providing accurate, timely, and actionable weather data for every community across the United States. From the bustling streets of New York City to the remote valleys of Montana, we deliver weather information that matters to you.

Founded in 2024, USWeatherHub was born from a simple observation: most weather services treat the United States as a collection of major cities, leaving thousands of smaller communities underserved. We set out to change that by building a platform that provides the same depth of weather intelligence to a town of 500 as it does to a city of 5 million.

What We Do

Hyper-Local Forecasts

We cover every incorporated city, town, and census-designated place in the United States — over 28,000 locations across all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Our forecasts are generated using data from the National Weather Service (NWS), NOAA weather stations, radar networks, and satellite observations to ensure maximum accuracy at the local level.

Severe Weather Alerts

When severe weather threatens, every second counts. USWeatherHub integrates real-time alerts from the NWS including tornado warnings, severe thunderstorm warnings, flash flood warnings, winter storm advisories, and heat advisories. Our alert system covers all 3,247 counties in the United States.

Climate Data & Analysis

Beyond daily forecasts, we provide comprehensive climate data including historical temperature averages, precipitation records, growing season information, and long-term climate trends. Our Weather Insights blog publishes in-depth state weather guides and climate analysis.

Interactive Radar

Our interactive radar system provides real-time precipitation tracking across the continental United States, helping you visualize approaching weather systems and make informed decisions.

Our Data Sources

USWeatherHub aggregates data from the most trusted meteorological sources in the United States:

  • National Weather Service (NWS) — Official forecasts, warnings, and advisories
  • NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) — Climate data, historical records, and ocean/atmospheric research
  • NEXRAD Radar Network — Real-time Doppler radar coverage across the U.S.
  • ASOS/AWOS Stations — Automated surface observation systems at airports and weather stations nationwide
  • GOES Satellite System — Geostationary satellite imagery for cloud cover and storm tracking

Coverage

Our platform provides comprehensive weather coverage for:

  • 50 States + D.C. — Complete coverage from Alaska to Hawaii
  • 3,247 Counties — Every county, parish, and borough in the nation
  • 28,000+ Cities & Towns — From major metros to rural communities
  • 7-Day Forecasts — Extended outlook with hourly precision

Our Commitment

We believe weather information is a public good. That's why USWeatherHub is free to use — no paywalls, no premium tiers, no data restrictions. Everyone deserves access to accurate weather information, whether you're a farmer in Iowa planning your harvest, a teacher in Florida preparing for hurricane season, or a hiker in Colorado checking mountain conditions.
